If the past year has taught us anything, it is the immeasurable value of relationships. Now, as more people are able to safely and comfortably gather, we are here to help you make up for lost time by creating intentional, meaningful experiences with the ones you love.
While it doesn’t take a special occasion or even a vacation to make memories, we are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences <for?> those we host at Infinity Pines. So for our guests (blog guests included), here are 5 ways to help make your next gathering more meaningful.
Take pictures.
Take a lot of pictures. We aren’t talking about those perfectly posed pics for the ‘gram. We mean the candid ones. The ones with messy hair, no makeup and kids piled on top of mom while her morning coffee gets cold on the counter. Capture the normal, not-so-perfect moments you’ll want to remember.
...and then put your phone away.
Do your best to dedicate your attention to the people who are in the same room as you. While most emails and Facebook notifications can wait, you’ll never have this exact moment again.
Ask meaningful questions.
It’s amazing what you can learn when you dive deeper than “How was your day?” to questions like “What is your favorite childhood memory?” or “What is the most important lesson you’ve learned in life?” It is especially fun to learn the unique perspective and experiences of the older members of your group. Here is a list of questions to get you started.
Go with the flow.
Even the best laid plans are subject to change. This inevitably makes a go-with-the-flow attitude invaluable. You may find that unexpected, even inconvenient circumstances can make the best memories!
...but also have a plan.
Plans don’t have to be rigid. Having a flexible outline for your experience helps add structure and entertainment for your entire group. You can find a list of activities for all ages and interests on our website, where you can also secure the most important plans of all - your next visit to Infinity Pines!
